Art and Object：Affinity of the Jomon and the Contemporary
A Concept of the Exhibition
Encounter of the Arts between the Jomon period(BC10,000-BC400) and the modern days.
The life and environments of the universe have dramatically changed over the thousands of years.
However, there is something unchangeable and everlasting.
For the preparation of this exhibition, we’ve tried to find out both differences and universal senses of human beings in two different time frames.
We’ve ended up delving into those senses through a joy of living, a fear of death,an awe for the supernatural, and a universality in fundamental human desire.
We are proud that we could create a small universe in the exhibition fulfilled with a past-present-future energy.
We would be very happy if you could come and touch those senses by heart.
