Re-opening the Passage to the Aomori-ken (Aomori Dog) from June 19th

To all of the fans of the Aomori-ken (Aomori Dog), thank you for waiting!

In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, museum visitors can currently only view the Aomori-ken (Aomori Dog) through the observation window in our permanent exhibition. Beginning on June 19th (Friday), we will be reopening the outdoor path so that visitors may once again view the Aomori-ken (Aomori Dog)from up close!

Requests to Prevent the Spread of COVID-19

  • Please do not touch the Aomori-ken(Aomori Dog)

  • Please maintain a fixed distance from other museum guests

  • Please use the hand sanitizer installed in entrance

To prevent infection by contact, we are requesting that visitors refrain from touching the artwork itself.

Additionally, we will also reopen the Community Hall on the same day! Please feel free to use the area whenever you need to take a break.

Furthermore, we ask all visitors to wear masks, diligently wash their hands, disinfect themselves, practice social distancing, and take other precautions to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 for the duration of their visit to the museum. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
